Sometime-writer, sometime-designer, full-time pastry-eater. That's me. For all the writing and pastry details, head over to www.douglasmack.net.
When I'm not typing or brushing crumbs from my chin, you'll find me hanging out with my pals Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. I specialize in smaller projects, like postcards, corporate brochures, print ads, business cards, concert posters, and online graphics.
So. You need a postcard, a gig poster, an event invitation, or a blog header? I'm your man. Which is to say, yes, I'm available for freelance projects, and I'd love to work with you. Great work, pain-free process, low rates ... My e-mail address is just over there to the right >>
I favor a clean, modern aesthetic that clearly conveys the necessary information—no reading between the lines or searching out the details—while being compelling, cool, and oh-so-pretty. And I believe in a collaborative creative process and ongoing communication with the client—ultimately, it's your name that's going out there, your story getting told, your vision being realized.
Past clients include WorldHum.com (the Travel Channel's online magazine), arts organizations like The Rose Ensemble, the American Society of Journalists & Authors (Minneapolis chapter), Avery Anthology, and all kinds of other cool organizations, businesses, and people. To see some of my work for these and other clients, stop reading this and go click through the portfolio already!
